Suggestion : Mini GM

My suggestion is Mini GMs.
Mini GMs act as assistants to the GMs.
Mini GM can be a permanent job, unlike interns.
Mini GMs also have more commands than interns, but they won't have the ability to ban.
Mini GMs assist GMs when needed.
Yeah, so. Interns are different from Mini GMs. :c

Basically interns don't have many abilities except for !say,!warp so that they can help out players when needed. Although they'll have event commands, they're not allowed to host events on their own, they won't be able to make items. so basically they have to shadow a gm during their intern period.

Being an intern sounds better than being a GM at this point to me. I was a GM a month ago and I hardly knew what to do, atleast with started as an intern you'd be able to get some practice before trying the actual job.
For the intern thing, will you be able to ask a GM for items?

Besically an intern is a person who is beeing tested to see if he is worthy and can be trusted in the future with GM power. Besically the same charecteristics of your idea of mini GM but with a different name Smile

But, in this case, a Mini GM can be permanent and not temporary, unlike an intern. And it'll include more skills too.

Don't interns eventually become a GM progressively?
And mini gm sounds okay, but I think it's practically the same thing as a intern.
Because eventually a mini gm would want to become a full gm because
of the skills learned and what not. c:

Some people don't want as big as a responsibility. Mini GM is a perfect solution for those who have potential, but cant handle the pressure and/or responsibilty that comes with becoming a GM. It can also work as an Intern, but I think that can and should be a different subject.

It's different. An intern is temporary where as a Mini GM can be permanent or temporary. A Mini GM has more commands, which makes more responsibility.

I gess, in anycase even if we will hire mini GM it would be way in the future when the number of players would be high but we wouldent want to hire new people/give power to more people then needed.

When i saw, i thought Mini GMs were like the GM's Kind of Pet or something. But then, yeah it'll also be useful, but that's why Interns exist, Young Kitty.

umm i personally don't agree with this :/
like if yu can't handle the "pressure" or "responsibilities", then don't apply at all.

its like saying i want the job buh i'll only be doing 70% of the work so give me a diff title...

and there are no permanent jobs because if yu mess up enough times, then yur gone.

so yea... :/

But then what I meant about the permanent part is that, like,... with interns , after a while, you become a gm . but with mini gm, theres no where else to go, unless you're liek, an exception and you become a gm. o3o.

Yeah, i agree with that statement, they should be fully qualified for the job.

But it doesn't hurt for the GMs to have assistants, and they may be quite helpful at times.

Neko; arguing isn't going to help. I honestly can't find a GOOD reason of why we need mini-gms; you say they're different than interns, but they sounds the exact same to me. If they're not qualified for the job, they shouldn't even be part of the GM job; weather it's being a GM, intern, or an assistant. When you say permanent; it just sounds really awkward to me, so they can't quit their job? I'm sure that's not what you ment, but It's what I'm reading it as. As Christin said, there is no permanent jobs; everyone has their slip-ups, everyone makes mistakes, and if you don't learn from your mistakes, you'll keep doing them and eventually you'll be fired! Yes, fired. You may not like the idea of being fired, but it happens. Also, as Christin said, you're either all in it, or not in it at all. Right in the middle; what's the point? Being all in is way more useful. I agree with your statement of how it doesn't hurt for GMs to have assistants, but honestly, what does it help?
